Board and GovernanceThe Alpha Equities and Futures Ltd board consists of three directors who bring specific areas of expertise and experience to the Board. All members of the Board are active in the day-to-day operations of the company, including: trading, broking, funds management and client account management. The Board meets quarterly to assess and review the company's activities and to set and monitor strategy. Management meetings are held more frequently. |

John Harrop, ChairmanJohn Harrop is an experienced Professional Trader and Technical Analyst. He is a graduate of the University of New England and completed his postgraduate studies at the Securities Institute of Australia and Harvard in the USA. He is also a Senior Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, and the Director of Harrop Financial Pty Ltd. His depth of understanding of global markets and expertise in strategic trading are highly respected. |

Markus Helsing, Managing DirectorMarkus Helsing has held senior positions in the Australian and Swiss financial markets over the past 28 years. Prior to establishing Alpha Equities and Futures Ltd, he managed the Melbourne office of one of Australia's leading broking firms for over 10 years, while also serving as a Fund Manager and overseeing one of Australia's most successful Futures Divisions. He brings a wealth of experience to Alpha in futures and options trading, foreign exchange and managed discretionary accounts. He is highly regarded for his expertise in risk management. |
